Hi, I'm Allaina, the photographer behind Lavinderlens&Co, based in southwestern Virginia.

I believe the best photographs aren't the ones where everyone is looking at the camera. They're the ones you almost missed: a laugh halfway through a sentence, a small hand reaching for a bigger one, a quiet look between two people who don't know anyone is watching. I photograph like a fly on the wall, staying close to the moment without stepping into it.

My style is lifestyle, candid, and a little moody, with soft light, honest emotion, and a timeless feel. Whether I'm photographing your family, your senior year, or your wedding day, my goal is the same: to give you photos that feel like you, not like a pose.
